The University of Missouri was founded in 1839 and offers 300 degree programs (more than 90 available online) to 35,000 students. The campus Veterans Center assists veterans from pre-admission through graduation by accessing resources for tutoring, housing and financial and personal issues. The Vet Center also provides access to internships and career advising as well as support classes. Mizzou specializes in serving students who have full-time careers, families and duties that make classroom attendance difficult.
