What’s the coolest thing about your job?
I wanted to continue to serve my country but I was too young for federal agencies and I felt let down. Then I learned about opportunities at 7-Eleven and applied. I do continue to serve my country, just in a different way.
Best advice for other veterans?
Be prepared when you get out – start looking for a job early. And look at retail. There are opportunities and you can go as far as you want if you are willing to work hard.
