What was the biggest transition headache?

Figuring out a new career path.

What skills did you bring with you?

I’m very responsible.

What position did you choose and why?

I picking a driving job because it is what I am most comfortable doing. The coolest thing about my job is doing what I have a passion for.

How did you research your options?

I began to look for work after 60 days (after separation) and looked for companies that I could see myself working in and not applying for “all” jobs even if I was overqualified. I received a call from an employment agency and proceeded to apply.

What advice would you give other transitioning veterans looking for a career after the military?

Take your time in figuring out what you really want to do once you separate.
